Number bonds to 10 and 20

We have been learning how to make numbers to 10 and 20 using a pair of numbers. This has helped us with our counting and also with our strategies when using money, counting and adding. Some classes had a cafe, whilst others had a fruit shop. The children enjoyed the practicality of buying two items and paying the right money in pennies.
