Learning and Writing Information Texts

We looked at different books that give us information about things we want to know. We talked about the title, information sentences, why pictures are used and how they help us, captions and labels. We then had to make our own information page in a book using cut up pieces of a copied book. Some of us wrote our own information sentences and captions. Some of us talked about our own information sentences and captions.
