In numeracy we have spent some of the week learning subtraction through number sentences i.e. 7 - 3 = 4 Whilst we have been doing this, we have been learning to count back along a numberline. We have been playing subtraction games to help us feel confident and practice counting back using cubes or our fingers with the numberline. It has helped us to remember the subtraction sign - and that subtraction means taking away to make a number smaller.
